What we find

Most small business websites have something broken. Here is how many, and what.

Our crawler scans small-business websites every day for broken links, missing pages, broken images, typos and claims that went out of date. This page is what it finds, in aggregate, with no site ever named — and the free credits to check yours.

One thing it found, most days

Each one is a real finding from a real scan, described by trade and region only. The site is never named, not in the words and not in the picture. Sites rot; links move; suppliers retire pages. Every one of these is an instance of that, and the point of each is “check yours”.

How these numbers are made

The sample frame, the crawl window, the exact status codes that count and our own false-positive rate are published here with the numbers they describe.

Corrections and takedowns

Think one of these is your site, or think one is wrong? Email contact@webmend.app with a link to the observation. We take it down first and check afterwards, and we never post about a site whose owner has been in touch.
